Session & Product Policies
Session and Fees
In order to hold your session time and officially book it on Book a Session page, the session fee is due in total at the time of booking. We accept PayPal, cash, checks, and credit cards. Payment should be made immediately in order to block your time slot. Once a date is booked, we decline all other inquiries for that date, therefore session fees are non-refundable. The session fee does not include prints, products, or digitals.
In 2-3 weeks of your session date, your images will be ready to view. We will schedule a location agreed upon.
At the viewing session you can decide which product(s) you would like to purchase for your memories.
Travel up to 80 miles round-trip from 94541 is included. Time and travel above this will be invoiced at $1/mi with a $20 minimum. You are responsible for covering additional fees and costs related to location choice (admission fees, parking, etc.).
No other cameras are allowed at the photo session.
Please do not bring extraneous people to your session – they will only serve as a distraction for your child and it will be more difficult to capture them “in the moment.”

Prints, Products, and Digital Photos
As of 2020, we are excited to offer prints and products along with digital photos!
We believe in simple, straight-forward pricing. All sessions are booked with a session fee and photos are purchased separately after the session. We offer the highest quality photos and products, printed through professional labs that our computers are calibrated to. This means that your prints will look perfect every time! We offer a 100% money back guarantee on prints and products for quality purposes. I can not guarantee the quality or outcome of prints purchased elsewhere.
Digitals include high resolution photos which you receive full personal usage rights for printing and social media. JSC Fotos retains full copyright on all photos. Print and product orders may take up to 6 weeks to receive. Orders will be picked up at the home or a mutual safe location. Orders must be paid in full before items are released. Due to the custom nature of these products, all sales are final.
Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy
Working with children, I completely understand that issues may arise. If for any reason you need to cancel your session, please try to give at least 24 hours notice and your session fee can be applied to another session booked within 3 months of your original appointment date. If your child is sick or unusually ill tempered, it is best to reschedule. I maintain the right to reschedule if needed due to inclement weather, illness, emergency, etc. After a second request by you to reschedule, or if a re-booked session is not held within 3 months of the original session date, the session fee is forfeited and current pricing will apply to the new session.
I cannot reschedule sessions during the peak holiday season unless there is an emergency situation. If you have to reschedule a session originally scheduled, the initial session fee will be forfeited and you will need to schedule a new session and pay another session fee.
No shows – If you do not show up to your session or are more than 15 minutes late, the session fee is forfeited. You will need to pay the session fee again if you wish to reschedule your session.
Fall Holiday and other mini events
Fall Holiday Sessions are offered as a fun and affordable way for clients to get a holiday themed photo of your family or child. Fall Holiday Sessions are available for Valentine's Day, Easter, 4, Halloween, and Christmas. Session fees are $175. Prints, products, and digital photos are purchased separately.
Holiday Mini Sessions take place on select days only and time slots are limited. Sessions last approximately 20-25 minutes. Please plan to arrive on time as time slots are back to back. Arriving late may result in a cancelled session and no refunds are given. Since time slots are limited and usually sell out, session fees are non-refundable for cancellations or no shows.
Set ups can usually accommodate approximately 4 children, immediate family (siblings) only. Due to the fast paced nature of these sessions, babies must be able to sit safely unassisted or be held by an older sibling.
No refunds are given for holiday sessions you can't make due to scheduling or in cases where you don't like the set up, however the session fee from that session can be applied toward a regular session of your choice that is booked within 3 months of the missed Fall Holiday Sessions, or toward additional photo purchase from another Holiday Mini.
Other
Checks returned by the bank for any reason will be charged a $25.00 service charge and sessions/orders will be cancelled if they are not paid in full within three days of notification.
Online galleries will be available within 21 days after session date. At times (September, October, and November, especially) delivery times may be longer. No free product or refunds will be issued for these delays. Galleries (if applicable) will be password-protected and may be shared as desired. They will be available for 7 days, during which time all orders must be placed. After this time they will be archived as necessary to make room for new client galleries. If you need your gallery re-uploaded will be a $50 re-upload fee.
JSC Fotos retains copyrights on all images. All images can be used by JSC Fotos in any way (website, advertising, promotional materials, contests etc). All images remain the property of JSC Fotos and are protected under federal copyright laws. Under no circumstances can a client use images for commercial purposes, profit, or photographic competition or display without written permission.
Images may not be copied in any manner without written authorization from JSC Fotos. Unauthorized copying, printing, or scanning images from any online sources such as my website, blog, Facebook page or from any physical materials including prints, press printed materials and canvases, regardless of the intent for use, is considered a violation of copyright laws and violations will be prosecuted under current copyright laws.
